Beijing Jian Wai SOHO
This is a project of lighting design for a group of apartment buildings, low-rise commercial buildings and those landscape in Central Business District in Beijing
Apartment buildings will not only be used for housing but also for offices of venture enterprises.
Vehicle and pedestrian movement lines are separated between the ground level and basement level incorporates a large number of sunken gardens. These elements create a new landscape in Beijing.
In our lighting design, we are trying to make a energetic and powerful town landscape according to a few simple rules from interior light to landscape light.<
A panoramic view, daytime
This is a project of lighting design for a group of apartment buildings, low-rise commercial buildings and those landscape in Central Business District in Beijing, about 2km east of Tiananmen Equare. Uniform complex institution is designed by rigid frame.
A panoramic view from a distant
This institution is called crystal palace after completion because of its shining appearance and became a landmark of this area. We use a few simple rules for our lighting design, planning all lights together, from interior to landscape, them energetic and powerful town landscape arise.

A forest of towers with narrow silhouettes of a maximum height of 100m and width 27.3 m will stand on a site exceeding 700,000 square meters. Shining buildings stands in a row.

Sign boards are illuminated.

Landscape
LED are set as floor recessed luminaire on pathways. In our lighting design, we try to enhance a beauty of the illuminated place, so that did not design projecting lighting apparatus.

There are signal fluorescent light over passages.

Special lights are set in a sunken garden.
Inside of residential tower
Apartment buildings will not only be used for housing but also for offices of venture enterprises which is recently increasing dramatically against a back ground of economic growth in Beijing, then they are designed as a group of units open to the city. It seems to be these units will be used for various ends in a future, so that appearance of buildings would be chaotic. To prevent this problem, fluorescent lights were set in a perimeter zone. Expression of this institution is defined by these fluorescent lights though every unit has each impression to the city.
Border between site and outside
Continuous light defines border of site.
